Alia is the little girl of Mahesh Bhatt (chief, maker, and screenwriter) and Soni Razdan,(film performing artist and executive). She has one sister Shaheen Bhatt, a stepsister Pooja Bhatt, and a stepbrother Rahul Bhatt. Performing artist Emraan Hashmi and executive Mohit Suri are her cousins and maker Mukesh Bhatt is her uncle. Alia has finished secondary school from Jamnabai Narsee School IB in May 2011. She began her profession in Bollywood as a lead part in the film Student Of The Year.
