Haripriya was conceived on October 29, 1988 in Chikkaballapur, India. Her acting profession started in 2007 subsequent to being thrown in the Tulu film Badi. The next year, she showed up in the Kannada motion picture Manasugula Mathu Madhura.
She has following showed up in other Kannada movies like Vasanthakala, Ee Sambhashane and Male Barali Manju Irali. In 2009, she increased further popularity for her part in Kallara Santhe, for which she was designated for Filmfare Award for Best Actress (Kannada).
She then made her introduction in Tamil silver screen with the 2010 motion picture Kanagavel Kaaka. That same year, she showed up in her first Telugu film, Thakita.
